Statement of Faith

At House of Hope Youth Ministry, we help young people know Jesus, grow in faith, and live it out in real life. Here's what we believe:

 1. God is Real and He Loves Us

We believe in one God—Creator of everything—who is full of love, power, and purpose. He wants a personal relationship with each of us.

2. Jesus is the Way

Jesus is God’s Son. He lived a perfect life, died for our sins, and rose again so we can be forgiven and have new life in Him.

3. The Bible is God’s Word

The Bible is true and trustworthy. It helps us understand who God is, how He speaks, and how to live with meaning and direction.

4. The Holy Spirit is with Us

The Holy Spirit lives in every believer. He gives us guidance, power, comfort—and helps us grow.
We believe in:

  • Spiritual Gifts (1 Corinthians 12): Wisdom, healing, leadership, encouragement, and more—gifts that build up others.

  • Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23): Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These are the marks of a life led by the Spirit—real and visible every day.

5. We’re Saved by Grace

We can’t earn God’s love. It’s a free gift through Jesus. When we trust Him, we’re forgiven and given a brand new start.

6. Children are a Gift from the Lord

Children and youth are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3). They’re not just the future—they matter right now. We’re committed to loving, teaching, and empowering them to follow Jesus.

 7. Mentoring Matters

Faith grows in community. We believe in mentoring—older believers walking with the next generation, modeling how to live for Christ with love, humility, and truth.

8. Stewardship is a Way of Life

Everything we have comes from God—our time, money, gifts, and energy. We're called to use these resources wisely and generously for God's Kingdom.

9. We’re Called to Love and Lead

We were made on purpose, for a purpose. As followers of Jesus, we’re called to love others, serve our world, and live out the good news with boldness and grace.

10. The Church is God’s Family

The Church isn’t just a building—it’s people. We grow best when we’re connected, supported, and united in faith and mission.
